Chintaman Ganesh Mandir, Ujjain

Chintaman Ganesh, believed to be swayambhu (self-manifested), is one of the oldest Ganesh temples in Malwa. As the name says, Ganesha here removes chinta (worries). New ventures, marriages and house-warming in the region traditionally begin with his blessings.
