Ramghat, Chitrakoot

Chitrakoot on the Mandakini river is where Shri Ram, Sita and Lakshman spent most of their exile; it is also said that Shri Ram performed the shraddh of King Dasharath here. Pitra puja, Hanuman puja and Kamadgiri parikrama are the main rituals.
